Today I want you write down a big goal that gets you excited to reach. Write a goal that you feel may be a little bit more than you believe that you can achieve. Once you write it down, I then want you to devise a strategy to reach that goal.
I want you to break it down to a day by day goal that you can track. Next, I want you to find someone that you consider supportive but can hold you accountable. With your strategy that you come up with to reach your goal, do not rule out getting a personal trainer or mentor who has reached the level of success that you desire.
Success usually comes from pushing yourself and we all can use a push from an outside source to help us reach that next level. Take control of your life and what happens in it and do everything with intent.
Until you physically write down your goals, it will not feel as achievable and real.
Now BEGIN!

In life there are a lot of opportunities that are disguised as obstacles and hard work. There will be things that test you to see how bad do you want it. There will be things that will challenge you to be more and grow more as a person.
The world wants to see if you are willing to step up to the challenge. I just have one question for you that I want you to answer and answer seriously.
Do you believe in yourself yes or no?

You should strive every day to better yourself mentally as well as physically. Spend at least ten minutes each day reading something positive that will enhance your life.
It can be something as simple as a positive self help book or reading quotes on the internet. Motivation needs to be stimulated each day and this is a key discipline if you are going to be successful in the long term.
What is your favorite thing to do to get yourself motivated daily? I personally love going on you tube and searching out “motivational videos” and watching them. Especially the sports ones.
A Short Story about Weight Loss and Never Giving Up

There was a client that had lost complete hope in herself. She could not stand to look at herself in the mirror. Thoughts about what she wanted to look like and how “perfect” everyone else was made her fall deeper into her mental prison.
She was completely hopeless and depressed. She daydreamed about all of the amazing things that would change in her life if she could only lose the weight. She simply could not believe that she had allowed herself to get to this level.
Going shopping for clothes was an embarrassment. Dating life? Forget about it. She simply did not have the energy or pride to even present herself out there in the world.
One day she decided she needed a change. She was tired of her life and where it was going. She thought to herself “if I keep this up where will I be 10 years from now?”
The answer to that question was a scary thought. It was not where she wanted to be, so she decided to get a gym membership.
Getting the gym membership was one of the most intimidating and humiliating things that she had to go through. All of her self doubt and fears were going to be out there in the open where people could judge her every move and even worse, her body.
She almost thought of cancelling her membership and quitting. She did not know what to expect at the gym but she weighed her options and decided that she was going to do whatever it took to change her life.
Day in and day out she started off with the regular routine of wanting to lose her lower belly fat, tone up her arms, get rid of her back fat, and lean up her inner and outer thighs.
She was lost though. Working out was something that she had never done before.
As the weeks passed she saw very little results and became very discouraged. She thought “what’s the point?”.
After she gave in to some self pity, she remained brave and kept going despite her insecurities and frustration. She made a commitment and was determined to change her life.
After a couple of months she decided to be pro active and started reading fitness blogs and magazines. She wanted to educate herself on how to tackle her obstacles and reach her goals.
She immediately started to apply the tips that she was learning and slowly but surely got comfortable with the new techniques.
She became more educated on how her body was and what she could do to help change it.
Her attitude changed immensely. She now felt like she had hope.
Results started to come and the scale was getting lower and lower each week.
After months of training she finally hit her goal weight. Needless to say, she changed her life forever. She owes it all to not giving up on her dream and most importantly on herself.
And guess what? She found herself a boyfriend.
Never give up on yourself.

My thoughts on fasting I think are unique and some people may disagree with my point of view but I am still going to share it. Fasting is a touchy subject because when you want to lose weight and get lean there are a lot of programs out there that promote fasting to get you results.
My problem with fasting in my opinion especially if it is done over a long period of time is, it can kill your metabolism causing you to be more bloated and actually see worse results over time.
Anytime where you are putting your body in a state of starvation or limited calories your body is going to eat away your muscle and your muscle is your metabolism. Our bodies were not designed to starve ourselves and not get any nutrients. Starvation is a horrible solution.
Ok so it looks like I am going to get some shirts put together and offer them to you guys. What colors would you guys choose, do you want it to be a tight fit or loose fit?
I think it is important to use the clothing as a form of support. Even though I cannot train with each one of you guys individually I want the clothing to be a symbol that you have support with the Fiture team. The Fiture team is all of us and it is growing.
That is also what the book is about, creating that culture of caring and improving ourselves each and everyday. I am going to have several tools to bring us together and build a Fiture team and family worldwide.
